By accessing or using the Light In Me website and services, you agree to the terms outlined below. These Terms of Service govern your use of our platform, your submissions, and any purchases made through our site. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

1. Overview of the Service

Light In Me is a Christian legacy storytelling service designed to help individuals document and preserve their spiritual testimonies. Our service includes access to a private submission portal and the option to purchase a printed or digital book that may include your submitted story alongside others.

2. Submission Agreement

By submitting your story, images, audio, or other personal content through our platform, you confirm that:

You are the rightful owner of the content, or have permission to share it.
You grant Light In Me permission to include your submission in the product you purchased (digital or printed legacy book).
You understand your story may be shared with others who have purchased the same book, but it will not be shared publicly or used in marketing without your written consent.

You retain ownership of your story. We do not claim exclusive rights to your content outside the scope of fulfilling your order.

3. Payment & Access Terms

Your purchase grants you access to the submission platform for the year associated with your order.

Each year’s edition has a submission deadline. After this deadline, late entries may not be included in the book.
Your access to the submission platform and digital product is limited to the calendar year of purchase.
Subscription-based access must be renewed annually to remain active.

4. Shipping and Fulfillment

Printed legacy books will be shipped after the submission deadline for that year. Estimated production and delivery timelines will be shared at the time of purchase.

If your address changes before the book is shipped, you must notify us at support@lightinme.org as soon as possible to ensure proper delivery.

5. Refund Policy

All sales are final. Due to the personalized and time-sensitive nature of the service, we do not offer refunds. If you need support completing your submission, we are available to help at support@lightinme.org.

6. Accuracy and Responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit. We are not responsible for typographical errors, omissions, or content submitted in error. You may request edits or changes by contacting us before the final print deadline.

7. Use Restrictions

You agree not to:

Submit false, harmful, or offensive content
Impersonate another individual or misrepresent your identity
Attempt to access or modify other users’ content

Violations of these terms may result in removal of content or denial of service.

8. Limitation of Liability

Light In Me is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our platform or products. We are not responsible for lost or damaged shipments beyond our reasonable control.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms of Service to reflect service changes or legal requirements. Updated versions will be posted here, and significant changes may be communicated directly.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts within that jurisdiction.
